About Everyday Answered

Everyday Answered publishes practical guides to technology and travel. We help readers solve specific problems, understand their options and work out what to do next.

The website is published by F Press, with Peter Csernák serving as editor-in-chief.

Our technology articles cover devices, software, apps and online accounts. Our travel guides explain common questions about flights, baggage, documents and transport. You will also find earlier articles about home maintenance and buying decisions.

What you can expect

We aim to give a direct answer at the beginning of each article, followed by the steps, conditions and exceptions that matter. A useful guide should explain both what to do and what might prevent the usual solution from working.

Details matter. A software feature may depend on your device or operating system. A travel rule may differ by country, airline or route. Our approach is to make those limits clear rather than present one answer as suitable for everyone.

How articles are produced

Everyday Answered uses artificial intelligence to help research topics, draft articles and perform automated editorial checks. These checks include reviewing factual claims, sources and possible duplication with existing articles.

Automated checks can miss errors. They are not equivalent to firsthand testing or a specialist’s assessment. Our guides should not be read as evidence that we have personally tested a device, used a service or taken a particular journey unless the article explicitly describes that work.

Images may also be generated with artificial intelligence. Illustrative images are not evidence of product testing or a visit to a particular location.

Sources and accuracy

We prioritise official documentation, government guidance, manufacturers’ instructions and information published by the organisations responsible for a product or service. Artificial intelligence output is not a source.

Supporting links allow readers to consult the underlying information. When a question depends on a particular model, booking or destination, the relevant provider’s current instructions remain important.

Keeping information useful

Software, services and travel requirements change. We aim to correct material errors and update guidance when we identify a change that affects the reader’s next step. Publication and update dates provide context, but they cannot guarantee that every detail remains current.

More information about our approach to sourcing, corrections and commercial independence is available in our Editorial Policy.
